Who or what is a hidden character? In literature they may be hidden in plain sight, they may hold the key to the arc of the story, or they may unravel everything we know to be true. In typography they are simply a helpful device to help with the structure of a document.
The idea of hidden characters became the central theme of the International Literature Festival Dublin’s promotional booklet. Overlapping and abstract text are evident on the hand crafted cover and indeed punctuate the booklet itself.
