The National College of Art & Design
The National College of Art and Design (NCAD) offerss the richest most diverse education in art and design in Ireland. Founded as the Dublin Society Drawing School in 1746, NCAD has been central to art and design in Ireland for over 270 years. The Thomas Street campus is home to a community of 1,500 undergraduate, graduate and part-time students across four disciplines: Design, Education, Fine Art and Visual Culture.
NCAD is a place of making, questioning, and imagining better futures. The new visual identity is rooted in bold thinking, creative destinction and a spirit of curiosity, reflecting what the college is, values and where its going.
