The Irish word Meitheal describes neighbours coming together to help with harvests and other shared tasks. Rooted in the ancient Celtic tradition of Túath, it refers to a co-operative labour system or work team united to achieve a common goal, such as building a house or reaping a harvest.

For the Meitheal Impact Report we brought together a community of actors, producers, players, messers, small children, big children and everyone in between to help carry the all important words that describe the value and impact of arts, culture and theatre for young people.
