As a part of Ibec group, Drinks Ireland represent the interests of alcohol drink manufacturers (beer, cider, whiskey, spirits and wine) and suppliers in Ireland. Ibec is Ireland’s largest lobby and business representative group. Their purpose is to help build a better, sustainable future by influencing, supporting and delivering for business success. The Drinks Ireland annual review is designed to highlight headline statistical information on the drinks industry, along with updates on the key issues affecting the sector.
Using various glasses associated with each of the drinks sectors our first annual review captured a series of multi-coloured overhead images. Each glass was filled with a colour connected to the Drinks Ireland brand. Throughout the review the images are overlaid with statistical pie charts and updates on the key issues affecting each drinks sector.
Continuing the concept of glasses associated with the various drinks sectors and inspired by the dance choreography of Busby Berkeley we created geometric patterns using glasses from each of the different drinks’ associations. The second Annual Review uses the photographs to again form a set of graphic images that enhance the information statistics. The Ibec colour and type system is applied over the contrasting photographic patterns.
“We found the team at Red&Grey to be responsive, creative and most importantly, ambitious. They bought into our ambition and made it their own, and they delivered on that shared ambition with brilliant concepts and design.”
