National Gallery of Ireland
Sir John Lavery was an internationally renowned Irish painter at the turn of the 20th century, usually characterised as a portrait painter. This major exhibition of over 70 works, focuses on the artist’s depictions of both the people, and the places, he encountered on his extensive travels, particularly on key locations, from Scotland to Palm Springs.
Over the course of his long career, Lavery never travelled without his painting box, and plein-air studies from Switzerland, Spain, Ireland and Italy, as well as cities from Glasgow to London, Venice, Cannes and New York, are also on show. For this exhibition we worked on branding, signage, digital and promotional materials across the exhibition and gallery.
