Gender balance, diversity & inclusion
The Architects’ Council of Europe is releasing the ‘A/B/C: Gender balance, diversity and inclusion in architecture’. Read the document here.
We worked with ACE to distill this manifesto into an Actions / Benefits / Culture structure, creating a succinct and impactful tool. The document is the distillation of a much larger story around inclusion and diversity in architecture, and as such we took inspiration from the Tibor Kalman quote, “The logo is to the designer what the chair is to the architect, a distillation of a grander narrative.” Illustrations of chairs were created using a mono-print technique, to accompany each of the 9 Actions. We commissioned interviews with three architecture practices to describe the culture of the industry.
